Function
Assignments :
The main mission is to ensure the encoding and the monitoring of data in the Belgian register for drepanocytose and rare anaemia in cooperation with the European platform for rare anaemia (Rare Anaemia Disorders European Epidemiological Platform, RADeep).
Tasks
- Encoding (recording and annual follow-up) of the patient data in the Belgian register
- Frequent travel to the different Belgian centres
- Supporting function of the different centres
- Monitoring + writing a progress monitoring report
- Travels to France (Lille and Pars) to determine encoding requirements
Qualities required for the function :
- A minimum level C1 in French and Dutch required
- A minimum level B2 in English required
- Knowledge in hematology or willing to follow a training course
- Long term planning skills
- Proactive and organised
- Be comfortable with frequent travel
- Comfortable with working as a team
- Have a sens of priorities and be able to work independently
- Polyvalence and discretion
- Very good knowledge of the IT-tools (Power Point, Office and databases)
- Flexibility
Graduate degree of the short or long type (scientific bachelor, master) ;
Hiërarchy : Doctor responsible for the Department of Hemato-oncology
Schedule : 30h/week
Entry into service : October 2022
Languages
You have a good knowledge of the second national language or you are willing to acquire it (internally organized language courses during working hours, possibility of obtaining a gross SELOR bilingualism bonus of 150€ subject to the presentation of the language certificate of Selor article 10 or 12).
